Pool Sharks is a hard hitting psychedelic rock band based out of Boulder, Colorado. Pool Sharks blends fast technical grooves, waves of fuzz, and absurd musical abstractions to create their own brand of acid infused psychedelic shark rock.
Founded in 2022 by Leo Treviño, Ethan Minard, Ted Stevens and Tyler Truscelli, Pool Sharks burst onto the local Boulder/Denver psych rock music scene with an ambition and hunger to make a name for themselves. In under a year they have played a variety of shows including a headlining spot at the Fox Theatre. They went on an east coast tour in August of 2023 where they played shows in cities such as Chicago, New York City, and Philadelphia. In addition, they have put out three singles with more music on the horizon.
The Pool Sharks sound is one that references many eras of rock music; from the downtempo heaviness of Black Sabbath to the fuzz of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, the experimentalism of The Velvet Underground to the soaring, psychedelic guitar melodies of Pink Floyd, Pool Sharks are sure to take you on an unforgettable musical journey and to melt your face off in the process.
