Fasten Your Seatbelts is a Colorado supergroup composed of members from Jane and Matthews, In Plain Air, Legato, Mama Magnolia, Squeaky Feet, Crystal Grid, and many more. Originating from the separation of Electronic and Progressive rock music from Jane and Matthews, the founder Jarrod Guaderrama put the 11-piece band together in hopes of creating a new sound that branches between big band and popular EDM music. Their initial release “The Dawn” coming out this May pulls influences from Pink Floyd, Daft Punk, Umphreys Mcgee, Pretty Lights and Vulfpeck bass-like lines. While it sounds like there are so many influences it would be hard to imagine, the music remains remarkably familiar and is something that will undoubtedly turn heads.
